Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.”

DoyleSoft is still alive and kicking. I increased the price of the DoyleSoft Flagship Product: DoyleSoft Knowledge Base to $99.95.
I have sold a few copies this year and a few copies of the Single User Version for $29.95.
I kicked off the DoyleSoft Store, but there isn't a wide selection of products available... yet.
I have a few ideas coming together for additional products for $99.95 and a few products for the $29.95 price point.
The rest of the year should be exciting for DoyleSoft.
Stay tuned and have a good weekend.

Improved customer support: By having a repository of knowledge, your team can quickly respond to customer questions and issues. By providing consistent answers to questions and issues, your customer is always assured of the right answer and consistent communications.
Reduced costs: A properly implemented knowledge base will reduce the number of customer/patient questions and will reduce the amount of time it takes to respond to problems. This can reduce the number of employees needed, quickly reducing costs.
If you are convinced that a knowledge base is beneficial, the next step is to begin setting up your knowledge base and training your team. Depending on your budget and the flexibility needed, you have several options to get your knowledge base operational:
Small Budget: If you are working on a very limited budget, you can create a knowledge base using a spreadsheet system. Although not ideal, this approach is beneficial, as you can keep track of issues that arise often, along with the solution. Therefore, when an issue comes up, you simply find the issue in your spreadsheet (along with the solution), then you can quickly supply the solution to your client (or team). This ensures consistent communication for issues and reduces costs, as your team can reduce the time spent on communicating solutions for common issues. The disadvantage of using a spreadsheet is that it is not easily shared between team members. If a specific team member has the spreadsheet open, others can not update it until no one else is using it. This can be limiting, but it is much better than not having a knowledge base. Another disadvantage is that you can not easily provide the knowledge base to your clients, so that they first search the knowledge base prior to calling your team for help.
Maximum Flexibility: If you prefer more flexibility, you will want to opt for a knowledge base system that eliminates the disadvantages of the spreadsheet system. A flexible knowledge base will allow you to:
1. Define custom fields you wish to track within the knowledge base.
2. Have a flexible search engine.
3. Allow file attachments.
4. Run over a network.
5. Have a portal to integrate with your website.
Choosing a knowledge base: When researching a knowledge base look for one that integrates well with your existing network.
Extending the Knowledge Base to your Customers: To maximize the use of your knowledge base, setup a knowledge base search portal on your website and make customers aware of it. This can eliminate unnecessary phone calls and reduce costs.

Imagine waking up one morning to realize you have made $161.00 or more overnight while you slept! It's happening to remarkable infopreneurs everyday and Clickbank makes it possible!
In August of 2002, I needed to find a way to process credit cards online, but I couldn't afford a merchant account. I was watching TV one day and saw an infomercial for the Internet Treasure Chest. Curious, I Googled it and found a random comment that persuaded me to ditch the Internet Treasure Chest and look into Clickbank. ClickBank.com is a great credit card processing solution and merchant account alternative.
First, Clickbank can accept credit cards from your site without a merchant account. If your products are digital (such as e-Books or software), you can use ClickBank to process credit cards and e-checks in real time. The cost is $49.95 upon signup and $1.00 per transaction plus 7.5% of sales.
Second, Clickbank is great for affiliates. Clickbank reports that 100,000 affiliates promote products from thousands of vendors everyday. With ClickBank, (as a vendor) you have your own built-in affiliate program. You decide what commission (from 1% to 75%) you would like to pay your affiliates. If you offered your affiliates $59.00 for your $79.00 product, do you think they will work hard for you? You bet they will!
You can also receive additional exposure through free listings on the ClickBank website and through the search facilities of other websites, such as CBMall.com.
If you just want to be an affiliate, even without applying for ClickBank credit card processing, you can earn referral commissions on thousands of ClickBank Marketplace products. You are only limited by your imagination!
Clickbank also eliminates sales tax problems. Since you must agree to sell your product to ClickBank for resale, ClickBank becomes the retailer responsible for collecting sales taxes, not you. ClickBank will not be subject to sales taxes in most jurisdictions. ClickBank is registered in the European Union (EU) and adds the appropriate Value Added Tax (VAT) to each applicable transaction. ClickBank even accepts PayPal!
After a customer purchases your product through ClickBank, the customer is redirected to a "thank you" page. This page contains information about how the customer can download your product, thus automating your product delivery. You only need to insert some simple HTML to prevent your thank you page from being indexed by the major search engines. Place this single line of HTML after your title tag:
I have recently had great success with Clickbank. I featured my software on a one day software discount site. This made me $161.00 in Net Sales in one day!
If you have a digital product, Clickbank is amazingly simple to set up. You will be able to get credit card processing up and running your first day! If you have any questions, contact me. I love hearing from up-and-coming infopreneurs!
